In an attempt to suppress Bangladesh’s struggle for independence, Pakistan’s ruthless Punjabi army mercilessly massacred three million innocent Bengalis and subjected thousands of young Bengali girls to sexual violence. The conscious Bengali nation will never forget this brutality, nor will they ever forgive the Punjabis for such a grave sin. In the current circumstances, the manner in which the government of Bangladesh has been toppled as part of a global conspiracy against the Bengali nation has become clear. In this global conspiracy against the Bengali nation, Pakistan’s ISI played a significant role by once again using Bangladesh’s Jamaat-e-Islami, which had betrayed its own people during the 1971 liberation struggle by siding with the brutal Punjabi army against patriotic political figures fighting for freedom.
In the current situation, Jamaat-e-Islami, once again following the orders of Pakistan’s conspiratorial military and cunning ISI, has repeated its treacherous and anti-national role by being used against Sheikh Hasina’s democratic government. The conscious Bengali nation is now aware of how Bengali youth were manipulated against their own country’s democratic government and national interests. These Bengali youths are beginning to realize how they were ensnared by the conspiracies of global powers, Pakistan’s military, ISI, and Jamaat-e-Islami.
The issue of appointing quotas for the martyrs was neither unreasonable nor a conspiracy against Bangladesh. Moreover, this quota appointment decision was made by the judiciary of Bangladesh. So why, and at whose behest, were thousands of Bangladeshi youths emotionally manipulated and misguided under the guise of this quota, leading them to play a conspiratorial game to overthrow their own democratic government? Now that the emotions have settled, every Bengali is reflecting on what exactly happened—how their democratic government was removed over minor grievances and replaced by a technocrat favored by global powers. Did the youth of Bangladesh lead a movement to hand over power to this technocrat, Muhammad Yunus? Were all these protests carried out for Muhammad Yunus? The answer is no!
When evaluating any government, it is crucial to consider its measures for economic development, its patriotic intentions, and whether it is defending the interests of its people and country or merely acting as a puppet of global powers, as is often the case with Pakistan’s governments and military. However, in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina’s government had made the country economically superior to several neighboring countries, including India and Pakistan. The truth is that when Sheikh Hasina’s government was threatened by global powers to hand over a maritime island, likely Saint Martin, her government was warned that a conspiracy would be launched against it if she refused. Indeed, that is exactly what happened. Sheikh Hasina, prioritizing patriotism and safeguarding national interests, refused to bow down to the global powers, and consequently, these global forces, in collusion with Pakistan’s ISI, hatched a conspiracy to overthrow her government.
In this conspiracy, Pakistan’s ISI used Bangladesh’s Jamaat-e-Islami, other right-wing political forces, and Bengali youth, leading them to act against their own national government for the sake of global interests. As a result, Sheikh Hasina, with tears of helplessness in her eyes, was forced to seek refuge in India—the same India that had made tremendous political and diplomatic efforts and sacrifices for Bangladesh’s independence. In this tragic scenario, the way Jamaat-e-Islami thugs desecrated, toppled, and destroyed the statues of Bangladesh’s independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gave the impression that Jamaat-e-Islami was, on one hand, denying Bangladesh’s independence and, “on the other hand, the way ISI and the Punjabi military were orchestrating the desecration of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s statues—having them torn down and vandalized through Jamaat-e-Islami thugs—made it clear that the Punjabi military was seeking revenge on the Mukti Bahini and Sheikh Mujib. They were avenging their devastating defeat and the humiliating surrender of 90,000 Punjabis in 1971.”
Today, Pakistan’s government and military, which committed atrocities and barbarism against the Bengali nation during the 1971 liberation struggle, are now formulating doctrines to improve their conspiratorial relations with Bangladesh’s current puppet government. Their aim is to use Bangladesh against India and to place Bangladesh in the lap of global powers, just as Pakistan itself is. However, the reality is that the conscious people and political activists of Bangladesh have realized the grave mistake they have made. They now understand how they were used against their own country’s national interests and government due to the conspiracies of global powers, Pakistan’s cunning military, ISI, and the treacherous Jamaat-e-Islami. They are now attempting to rectify this mistake and the political blunder they made. Pakistan needs to abandon its delusions and misconceptions that Bangladesh will sit in its lap because the Bengali nation is neither so naive nor so ignorant that it would easily fall into the trap of Pakistan and its cunning military.
