In the name of the National Apex Committee, the Punjabi establishment has orchestrated a sinister plot to perpetuate state terrorism and carry out the ethnic cleansing of the Baloch nation. We, the Sindhis, unequivocally declare our unwavering solidarity with our Baloch brethren in this critical juncture. Together, we shall confront Punjabi fascism, brutality, and tyranny as an unyielding force, resolute like a mountain. The destinies of the Sindhi and Baloch nations are intrinsically intertwined, and therefore, any act of neutrality in the face of state oppression, fascism, and genocide against the Baloch would be an unforgivable betrayal of conscience and a display of cowardice.
Geo News has reported that the military establishment, in collusion with the Punjabi political elite and their accomplices, has resolved to execute the genocide of the Baloch through military operations. In response, we, on behalf of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM), categorically and explicitly announce our stance: we stand firmly with the Baloch against all forms of state oppression, fascism, and brutality.
We believe it is the national and historical duty of the Sindhi people to stand unwaveringly with the oppressed Baloch people against all injustices and persecution. Through our actions, we will demonstrate that our resistance and enmity are solely directed against Punjabi imperialism. On behalf of JSMM, we strongly condemn the Punjabi establishment’s aggression, fascism, and decision to commit genocide against the Baloch nation. We unequivocally declare full solidarity and practical support from the Sindhi national movement to our Baloch brothers.
The Sindhi and Baloch nations are historically, culturally, and existentially interconnected. The Baloch struggle is not merely a fight for their survival but a symbol of freedom, autonomy, and survival for all oppressed nations. Weakening the Baloch resistance would signify the weakening and misfortune of all oppressed peoples, a scenario we will not allow under any circumstances.
Hence, we shall never leave the Baloch alone in their resistance against state fascism and brutality. Against Punjabi aggression and savagery, the Sindhi nation will stand steadfastly beside the Baloch. From political and diplomatic arenas to resistance movements, we will raise our voices in unison with the Baloch.
This moment represents a trial and a test for the Baloch people, one in which the Sindhi nation—especially Sindh’s political, nationalist organizations, and national movement—will stand unwaveringly by their side. Under no circumstances will we abandon our Baloch brothers in their fight against state oppression and imperialist aggression.
We shall live and die together, and therefore, we pledge to stand shoulder to shoulder with our Baloch brothers on every front. Under the guise of a military operation against terrorists in Balochistan through the so-called National Apex Committee, a conspiracy has been orchestrated to perpetrate the genocide of the Baloch people. We urge the international community to take notice of this ominous plan, which threatens to lead to further human catastrophes, bloodshed, and the permanent subjugation of historically significant nations.
Our unequivocal position remains that the Baloch are not terrorists; rather, it is the state and the Punjabi military that embody terrorism and deceit. In these circumstances, the global community must align itself with the freedom of historic nations and lend support to their political and secular struggles against this unnatural, terrorist state.
We perceive this as a culmination of the contradictions inherent in Pakistan’s state imperialism, savagery, and the colonial enslavement of oppressed nations. Intellectuals within Punjab, alongside all nations of the region, must stand with the cause of national liberation for oppressed peoples against Punjabi imperialism. This would mark a progressive political act.
At this critical juncture, regional political parties, progressive circles, intellectuals, and writers must unequivocally support the Baloch people’s resolute struggle against the unnatural state of Pakistan. The time has come to expose the coercive annexation, state colonialism, and Punjabi fascism of Pakistan. A broad alliance must be formed to address the political question of national liberation for historic nations and to defeat Punjabi imperialism, as was achieved with the Bengali nation.
We advocate for the immediate creation of a wide-ranging political and resistance-oriented united front against Punjabi imperialism. This front should bring together political leaders, national activists, intellectuals, and the conscious populace of oppressed nations. Such unity is essential to advancing the determined political struggle and national resistance for the liberation of historic nations.
The brutality and fascism of Punjabi imperialism against oppressed nations have been ongoing since the inception of this state. Punjab has forcefully occupied the natural resources of nations imprisoned within Pakistan, exploited their economies, and conspired to erase their cultures, languages, and histories. State terrorism and fascism have been systematically deployed to suppress the political struggles of these nations, while the state endorses fundamentalism, racism, and comprador landlords and tribal leaders.
Punjab treats the historic nations as its colonies, systematically undermining their national identities, territorial integrity, and linguistic heritage. Hence, the struggle for national liberation against Punjabi imperialism is the most pressing political truth and historical necessity of our time. It demands the earnest engagement of all conscientious individuals.
The unnatural Pakistani state has proven to be a grave threat and a lethal poison to the existence of historic nations. Consequently, the struggle against Pakistan is not the issue of one nation but a shared cause for the survival of all oppressed historic nations.
We firmly believe that Punjab’s decision to conduct a genocide against the Baloch reflects its imperialist mindset, colonial ambitions, and antagonism toward all historic nations. This makes the resistance against Punjabi imperialism not just a Baloch issue but the collective imperative of all oppressed peoples.
Thus, Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) firmly declares that the so-called criminal decision of the Apex Committee to initiate a military operation against the Baloch is nothing more than an extension of Punjabi savagery and barbarism targeting all historic nations of Pakistan. We understand that this operation represents the first phase of Punjabi imperialism’s broader strategy to commit genocide against the Baloch people. Following this, the imperialist forces aim to extend their military aggression towards Sindh. After targeting the Baloch, the Punjabi military will carry out similar actions against the Sindhi people.
Punjab’s conspiratorial strategy seeks to isolate each nation and systematically eliminate its existence, expanding its colonial aggression one nation at a time. Therefore, it is the historic duty of the political leaders, intellectuals, and national movements of oppressed nations to unite against this brutality and organize a broader and systematic struggle against this occupation. Punjab is an existential threat to all oppressed nations.
The ongoing struggle in Balochistan is a historic political movement, not terrorism. The state has consistently tried to mislead the world by labeling this legitimate freedom movement as terrorism. Actions such as the genocide of the Baloch people, enforced disappearances, and assassinations of political leaders not only violate human rights but also expose the savagery, imperialism, and barbarism of the state.
Since its inception, the Pakistani state has supported religious extremism and terrorism, making them integral parts of its policies. Economic exploitation, political oppression, fascism, and brutality against historic nations have remained its top priorities. The Bengali genocide of 1971 is a glaring example. Similarly, state-supported religious terrorism in Indian Kashmir, interference in Afghanistan, Baloch genocide, Pashtun oppression, Sindh’s colonial subjugation, Punjab’s forceful control of Sindh’s river water, the military’s occupation of natural resources and lands, and conspiracies against Sindh’s history, language, and demographics clearly demonstrate Punjab’s imperialist ambitions. These efforts aim to erase the existence of historic nations within the unnatural state of Pakistan to establish a “Greater Punjabi Empire.”
As representatives of the Sindhi national movement, we seek to alert the international community to Pakistan’s intention to please China by initiating a military operation disguised as counterterrorism in Balochistan. This act of state terrorism, savagery, and barbarism threatens to create a massive humanitarian crisis in the region. Entire Baloch communities will be destroyed, homes will be demolished, innocent youth will be unjustly killed, and the genocide of the Baloch nation will be carried out.
It is imperative that the world recognizes the gravity of this situation. Pakistan’s actions represent a direct attack on the existence of historic nations, seeking to obliterate their identity and autonomy under the guise of fighting terrorism. Such brutality must be condemned and resisted globally.
Their properties will be plundered, and their homes will be demolished—a practice the state has already been engaging in, but one it intends to escalate following the recent decision. This is a grave crime against human rights and the national existence of the Baloch people, orchestrated by Punjabi imperialism. In light of this, we appeal to the United Nations and the international community to take immediate notice of the Punjabi colonial aggression and brutality against the Baloch people. Global human rights organizations must pay special attention to this critical issue.
In this dire situation, we propose that the Sindhi and Baloch nations unite to initiate a robust struggle against Punjabi imperialism. Sindh’s political parties, intellectuals, and the general public must stand with the Baloch people on every front. Together, we can expose and defeat every conspiracy and act of fascism perpetrated by Punjabi imperialism, playing a decisive role in securing the freedom of all oppressed nations.
The Sindhi, Baloch, Pashtun, and other oppressed nations must now unite on a single platform to launch a collective struggle against Punjabi colonialism. The fight against Punjabi imperialism is our shared duty, and its success is the guarantee of our survival and future. This unified struggle is the path that will lead us to freedom and peace.
The security, survival, and homeland preservation of historic nations are intrinsically linked to the question of Sindhudesh and Balochistan’s independence. Only through the liberation of these territories can the oppressed nations ensure their continued existence, freedom, and peace. We call for a collective awakening, unity, and resistance to dismantle the oppressive structures of Punjabi imperialism and colonialism.
